Just what is Big Shotz Industries? We believe it’s the answer to a question we had and thought many of you might, also. Why were all of the skaters and other action sport athletes in Chicago and the rest of the Midwest - and there are a ton of them, including some of the world’s best - content with copying trends and wearing brands from Southern California and the East Coast that reflect the spirit and soul of those places?
The guys and girls we saw didn’t look like ones who wanted to fit in on Hollywood Boulevard. And they didn’t look or act like the kids from Manhattan or Jersey. They didn’t talk like guys and girls from one of the coasts, either. They had a distinctive look. A look all their own. They even had an attitude all their own. One we refer to as a Chi-town attitude.
So, why were they decked out in brands that reflected something entirely different? The answer was simple. There was no national-level brand to identify with and call their own within hundreds of miles in either direction. There was no company to capture the look, the feel or the pulse of the neighborhoods where these guys and girls were shredding and hanging out. No company to capture the edge or attitude of Chicago and the Midwest.
With the creation of Big Shotz Industries, that’s all changed. BSI was dreamed up in Chicago, started in Chicago and influenced by everything that makes Chi-town, Chi-town. From our EL Girl to our Twisted City design, there’s no doubt where our heart and soul are. We’re here to address, first and foremost, the needs and concerns of action sports athletes, both in Chicago and the entire Midwest.
At BSI we don’t aspire to be middle-of-the-road, and we don’t intend to follow trends. We intend to create them. Give us a shot. You’ll see what we mean. We might be new on the scene, but we’re here to stay. Big Shotz Industries. The new ripper on the scene.
